Business Overview

Recently joining the team in 2017 with over 20 years of aviation experience in both the commercial and operational side of the business, Rohit will take on the role of CEO at Jazeera Airways including aiding the board with the development of the airline’s strategy and working with management on implementation. Prior to joining Jazeera Airways, Rohit has held leading roles at Singapore Airlines, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, and most recently United Arab Emirates’ low-cost carrier Air Arabia and its subsidiaries and joint ventures.

Krishnan joined Jazeera Airways in May 2018 with over 26 years of experience in Finance. Krishnan oversees finance and funding matters with the aircraft manufacturer and suppliers, in addition to overseeing the day-to-day financial activities for the company. In his last assignment he served as the CFO at Go Airlines in India and has held senior finance management positions in Jet Airways, India, and other aviation / airline companies in Maldives, Canada and India.

Joined Jazeera Airways in 2018 with over 27 years of experience in the aviation industry. Capt. Ayman is responsible for flight operations management and crew training. Prior to joining Jazeera Airways, Capt. Ayman held leadership positions in Kuwait Airways and with the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), Kuwait.

Naser is responsible for managing all the Jazeera Terminal 5 (T5) activities, Jazeera facilities as well as expansion projects. He joined Jazeera Airways in 2014 as VP Ground Operations responsible for a network of 30 stations that continued growing quickly over the years. During the pandemic, he was instrumental in leading the airline’s operations through exceptionally challenging times. In 2023, Naser took over as Chief Executive Officer of T5 that is owned and managed by Jazeera Airways. Having started his aviation career in 1989, Naser has over 34 years of experience in the aviation industry. He began with Kuwait Airways as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer working with heavy maintenance, line maintenance and quality. In 2006, Naser joined the then newly established National Aviation Services (NAS), now Menzies Aviation, where he set up the first privately operated EASA-145 certified, Aircraft Maintenance Organization. Following this he assumed the responsibility for all ground operations including passenger handling, ramp services and equipment before setting up the company’s operations at the Khartoum International Airport in Sudan. Naser has a degree in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering from Air Service Training in the UK.

Hashem Algharabally, Vice President - Maintenance at Jazeera Airways is responsible for all scheduled and unscheduled fleet maintenance, base maintenance, and line maintenance. Joining Jazeera as Head of Maintenance in 2020, Hashem was instrumental in moving away from the airlines’ dependency on outsources line maintenance providers as well as MROs. Hashem started his career with Kuwait Airways as a Superintendent of the Amiri fleet before moving to the Kuwait Directorate General for Civil Aviation as the Head of Airworthiness department 26 years later. He holds an Aeronautical Engineering degree from Scotland and has an Aircraft Maintenance Engineering license in engine and airframes from the United Kingdom. Experienced with several different aircraft types, he also has DGCA licenses as a B1 engineer, airworthiness inspector, aircraft accident and incident approved investigator, and qualified auditor.

Raghed Al Kaasamani, Vice President - Engineering at Jazeera Airways is responsible for all business and operational engineering requirements, including continuous airworthiness management for the airline’s fleet of 22 aircraft. Over the last six and a half years with the company, Raghed has played a significant role in transitioning major sub-contracted services to in-house services. This aimed to bring services such as Continuing Airworthiness Management Organization (CAMO) – Part M and Approved Maintenance Organization (AMO) – Part 145, within full control of the company. He also spearheaded the introduction of fleet customization and delivery as well as materials and engine contracts while successfully implementing a digital transformation setup to replace the traditional manual records system. These efforts collectively pursue the dual objectives of establishing comprehensive control and realizing substantial cost savings for the organization. Starting his career with Middle East Airlines, Raghed has gathered over 25 years of experience in aircraft maintenance and engineering. He holds multiple aviation certifications from the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and Kuwait DGCA, and has worked on several different Airbus and Boeing aircraft. Raghed holds an Executive MBA from University of Cumbria and Aircraft Maintenance degree from Lebanon.

Joined Jazeera Airways in 2017 with over 30 years of extensive experience in aviation in Kuwait. Jarrah has worked for two decades with Kuwait Airways in the area of aircraft maintenance and over a decade with the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), Kuwait, in different leadership positions. Jarrah was appointed as an ICAO National Continuous Monitoring Coordinator for the State of Kuwait.

Bharathan joined Jazeera Airways in March 2020 with over 20 years of commercial experience across Middle East, Asia, Africa & Europe. Having started his career in 1999 with KLM, he has worked with leading airlines like Emirates, Qatar Airways, Air Arabia and Air Astana. Prior to joining Jazeera Airways, he served as Director Sales Worldwide at Air Astana and has worked with Air Arabia for over a decade where he managed several regions globally.

Ginny joined Jazeera Airways in 2018 with 18 years of rich experience in managing a wide spectrum of Human Resources functions, with accountabilities to drive sustainable workplace capabilities with geographically diverse and multi-cultural teams across multiple divisions, thus contributing to the achievement of the strategic goals of organizations. Ginny has previously held senior positions in City Group, Agility Logistics and other companies in Kuwait & India. Ginny holds an MBA in Human Resources, along with various certifications in the HR field and is a certified Project Management Professional.

Praful has over 20 years of experience in Aviation IT industry. He joined Jazeera Airways in 2005 as startup team member and is responsible for all Information Technology and related functions. Praful was pioneer in setting up airline core systems and launching many first projects in the region including secure website, mobile apps and online checkin. Praful provides leadership for the continued development of an innovative, robust, cost efficient and secure information technology environment. Prior to joining Jazeera Airways, Praful worked at Air India in the core IT projects team with the major achievement in leading change from legacy to open systems.

Andrew Kendall joined Jazeera Airways as General Manager of its newly formed Duty-Free business in November 2021. In this role, Andrew is responsible for all the airline’s Duty Free business including procurement, inventory and sales. Prior to Jazeera, Andrew was the General Manager of the world’s largest duty-free business, with Dufry Cruise Services where he managed duty free retail across 38 luxury cruise ships. These including the MS Queen Elizabeth, working in partnership with cruise line partners such as Cunard, NCL, P&O, Holland America, and Carnival US with complex operations all over the globe. Andrew has extensive Middle East experience. He served as Head of Retail with the Landmark Group, where he managed 200 stores and five international fashion retail brands across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. In this role, he oversaw their successful nationalization program as well as the transitioning of all stores to be managed and operated 100% by Saudi female managers and staff to support the implementation of Vision 2030 across the retail division. He also managed the duty-free operation in Abu Dhabi International Airport, across 3 terminals. Prior to moving internationally, Andrew worked for some of the largest retailers in his home country of the United Kingdom.
