Jazeera Airways adopts a dynamic culture built on innovativeness. The company broke new ground in 2016 by introducing services that make the travel experience more efficient for travellers in Kuwait launching the Park & Fly remote check-in service, as well as a dedicated business lounge adjacent to Jazeera gates, and upgraded the entire check-in experience for faster service.
In 2017, Jazeera Airways refurbished its entire fleet of aircrafts and started the construction of a new dedicated terminal that will be fully operational in 2018 attached to Kuwait International Airport as the company continues its efforts to further facilitate travellers’ experience.
Recently joining the team in 2017 with over 20 years of aviation experience in both the commercial and operational side of the business, Rohit will take on the role of CEO at Jazeera Airways including aiding the board with the development of the airline’s strategy and working with management on implementation. Prior to joining Jazeera Airways, Rohit has held leading roles at Singapore Airlines, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, and most recently United Arab Emirates’ low-cost carrier Air Arabia and its subsidiaries and joint ventures.
Donald has over 30 years of experience in finance and has been with Jazeera Airways since early 2010, playing a key role in both the acquisition of Sahaab Aircraft Leasing and in the Jazeera Airways Turn-Around Plan. Today, Donald oversees finance and funding matters with the aircraft manufacturer and suppliers, in addition to overseeing the day-to-day financial activities for the company. His past experience includes senior financial management positions in telecommunications, physical security and IT across several regions including Southern Africa, Asia, the UK and the Middle East. Before joining Jazeera Airways, Donald was the Finance Director of Air Arabia in 2003, and later assumed the post of Air Arabia’s Director of Strategy and Planning.
With over 26 years of experience in the air transport industry, Bader joined Jazeera Airways in 2004 as part of the core start-up team that structured and established the airline in 2005. Between 2005 and 2010, Bader was instrumental in obtaining traffic rights to over 28 destinations in the Middle East, North Africa, and South East Asia. Today, Bader is responsible for legal counsel and negotiations with relevant governmental departments to ensure that the company’s needs and requirements across the network are met in compliance with different regulatory authorities at all times. Prior to joining Jazeera Airways, Bader was the Director of Air Transport at The Directorate General of Civil Aviation of Kuwait, where he led and participated in various governmental bilateral negotiations.
With over 35 years of experience in aviation, Captain Falah is responsible for flight operations management and deck crew training as A/E, flight planning, performance, operational control, and crew scheduling in accordance with the requirements of Jazeera Airways AOC, international legal requirements and Civil Aviation Authority regulations. Falah was instrumental in the establishment of the company’s pilot training department and securing manpower and other operational resources necessary to support the company’s operations and growth. In addition to his on-ground responsibilities, Falah is a senior training pilot who has earned an extensive list of flight operations and technical certifications within the aviation industry.
Ratan joins Jazeera Airways with over 30 years of Aviation Revenue Management experience covering Yield Management, Network Planning, Distribution, Pricing, and Budgeting. Having worked with Emirates from the early days of the Airline for 10 years, he was then able to implement his learning in setting up the Revenue Management Department for Qatar Airways when they relaunched in 1996. His experience covers Jet Airways, where he headed the Gulf, Middle East, Africa region and his last assignment prior to joining Jazeera Airways was with Oman Air.
Nasser joined Jazeera Airways in 2014 with over 26 years of experience in the aviation industry, handling various ground operations from aircraft line maintenance, ground handling, ground support equipment workshops, facilities maintenance, and quality assurance. Nasser was also instrumental in leading the establishment of the first maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) in the region following international standards that attracted international airlines. He also led the establishment of the operational team and service standards at the Khartoum International Airport in Sudan as part of his tenure in National Aviation Services (NAS). Prior to joining Jazeera Airways, Nasser was the director of engineering and director of ground operations at NAS.
Rafik has over 32 years of experience in aviation sales. At Jazeera Airways, Rafik leads sales across all distribution channels and segments, and is responsible for ancillary revenues, sales cost control, corporate sales network-wide, and travel trade relations. Rafik had a leading role in the setup of the company’s franchise offices across the network and in introducing Jazeera Airways Holidays. Prior to joining Jazeera Airways, Rafik spent years in leading management roles at Lufthansa German Airlines in Egypt and Kuwait.
With over 14 years of experience in the field of construction projects and facilities management. He graduated from Gannon University, Pennsylvania, with a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering. Since 2002, he has been involved in various mega projects in Kuwait such as the construction, operation, and maintenance of Marina Mall, Burgan Bank Head office, KIPCO Tower, The Avenues mall, and the Australian College of Kuwait. He holds various international certifications and memberships in the field of Facilities Management.
Ginny joined Jazeera Airways in 2018 with 18 years of rich experience in managing a wide spectrum of Human Resources functions, with accountabilities to drive sustainable workplace capabilities with geographically diverse and multi-cultural teams across multiple divisions, thus contributing to the achievement of the strategic goals of organizations. Ginny has previously held senior positions in City Group, Agility Logistics and other companies in Kuwait & India. Ginny holds an MBA in Human Resources, along with various certifications in the HR field and is a certified Project Management Professional.
Praful has over 20 years of experience in Aviation IT industry. He joined Jazeera Airways in 2005 as startup team member and is responsible for all Information Technology and related functions. Praful was pioneer in setting up airline core systems and launching many first projects in the region including secure website, mobile apps and online checkin. Praful provides leadership for the continued development of an innovative, robust, cost efficient and secure information technology environment. Prior to joining Jazeera Airways, Praful worked at Air India in the core IT projects team with the major achievement in leading change from legacy to open systems.
A graduate of Oxford University, Andrew started his career in marketing at Unilever in the UK. He subsequently moved into advertising in London and worked for global agency networks such as TBWA, BDDP and McCann Erickson, heading major international marketing communications accounts for blue-chip companies such as Nestlé, Coca-Cola, Hertz and Seagram. He ran his own communications consultancy for two years before moving client-side in 2009 when he joined Etihad Airways in Abu Dhabi as Vice President Marketing. At Etihad he was responsible for developing the brand into being recognized as one of the finest premium airlines in the world. He also headed the Etihad Airways Partners Marketing Council across 7 partner airlines, launching the EAP alliance brand and marketing programs; and managed the brand launch of Air Serbia and the new Alitalia corporate identity. In 2016 he moved to Air Berlin as SVP Marketing & Guest Experience where he led the brand re-positioning programs for the proposed new Air Berlin network carrier proposition and the Niki European leisure airline. He was also responsible for launching new interiors for the wide-bodied fleet, a new European Business Class and Buy-on Board service. Andrew joined Jazeera Airways in August 2017 as VP Marketing & Customer Experience.
